Something to look at

Our neighbor Gus had a car delivered this evening. It seemed like a classic car that would come out of the 1950's. It rode in a tractor trailer that was huge. It was a double trailer. The drivers of the tractor trailer looked like a husband and wife team. The tractor trailer had all sorts of hydraulics that would lift and lower cars and expand plastic on top of the trailer and open a plastic door in the back. This car looks like it would be in a classic car show. This was our entertainment for the evening.

Summer sun

Remember the song by Jerry Reed" When your hot, your hot?" This is what the summer heat has been to me. Hanging clothes on the clothes line means sacrificing a shirt from sweat, due to the intense heat from the sun. This is a white hibiscus that has bloomed twice at the beach. Mom took a cutting from the original plant from my sister's backyard. Dinner last night was roast beef. Tonight it will be sandwiches from the leftover roast beef and some boars head turkey sliced for sandwiches, plus chips.

rainy day

This has been a rainy day. The morning birds weren't as active as I have notice on other mornings. Dinner was a sirloin steak fried and gravy with mashed potatoes. Mom made a salad which blended well with dinner. I got a CVS coupon for 5.50 bucks. I used it to buy double A batteries that were a buy one get one free. I was charged 53 cents. I took advantage of the coupon before time ran out.
