Wednesday evening

Dinner was some sort of beef stew with cut up potatoes. Plus, a couple of beef ribs on the side. Dinner went down real nicely. We didn't have any pie to eat. I did get some chocolate which was sugar free and had raspberry filling. Plus a vanilla filling and a dark chocolate square. This square chocolates came all in one package from CVS and runs about four dollars. Mom took me to the park on the North end of the bridge which has two fishing piers and a direct look at the North bridge. It is like being in center ring at a circus. There is a front row view of the bridge when it raises and lowers to let the boats pass underneath. Also, we get to see the pelicans pass over the bridge and come to the park and over my head. This usually happens so fast, I can not grab a camera shot of the pelican. The direction of the water was flowing Southwards. Mom told me the water usually flows North to Jacksonville. The wind was cool at the park and I could feel the coolness on the back of mom's shirt as I touched it. We finally went home and turned on" America's got talent."

I magnified the picture of the pelican and to my surprise he was looking straight into your camera lens. Try looking at the picture blown up to high magnification and you will see what I mean. He probably saw you and was looking to see if you had some kind of treat for him I increased the magnification of the picture because of the clarity of the head when the pelican was at such a far distance. Once again fast lens and lots of megapixels works every time. As to sugar free chocolate, all I can say is that it is better than no chocolate at all. I had some sugar free Andes mint chocolates last night as well as some Hershey sugar-free chocolate miniatures. They were really pretty good. Mary had some Ghiraldi dark chocolate squares which I had gotten her a while back. They were in the refrigerator. Right now Lifesavers have a $ 1.00 coupon inside each package of their sugar free candies. At Wal-Mart, a package of the sugar-free lifesavers is $ 1.43 so with the $ 1.00 coupon, the price ends up being 43 cents. Now that is a pretty good deal. I open a package that I have bought with a previous coupon and use the coupon inside it to buy another bag for 43 cents and then take the coupon out of that one and on my next trip to Wal-Mart I buy another for 43 cents. I take the coupon out of that package and...........on and on. My favorite is the sugar-free wintergreen lifesavers. I am trying to get all that I can for that price. Tonight for supper Mary made a large pork loin that she had gotten that had citrus seasonings inside the plastic package so that the flavors were well marinated throughout the pork loin. Rice and mixed vegetables on the side. Plus I had some jellied cranberry sauce. Sometimes I get the whole cranberry sauce but I like the jellied cranberry sauce best. Have a nice evening and enjoy your guilt-free sugar-free chocolates. Have you noticed that sugar free chocolate is more expensive than regular chocolate? We pay more to get less. What a crazy world we live in. Have a nice evening. Lew
