Friday is here

I haven't even looked outside. I only know it is nice and cool inside. It makes me think more of the winter months than the hot Summer which we are suppose to be in Fall. Friday seems to come so quickly. I have my doubts about the shuttle taking off tonight. The weather has been so unpredictable. The rains come in the evening and I don't know if they will even clear out by midnight. The launch is a minute before midnight. I don't know what is on the menu for dinner this evening. I only hope it is good. I like Lew's description of his big breakfast. It is like he is inviting everyone over to share in his bountiful feast.

Recycling is good. It takes something which has become no longer usable for its original purpose. Sometimes it is just something not wanted anymore. The flea markets are full of these kinds of items. The shrimp boat in the picture is recycling old car tires by having them hang on the sides of the boat to act as "bumpers" when the boat must dock to unload its shrimp and take on supplies and fuel. I don't see any nets hanging from the yardarms on the boat and it is riding low in the water so they have probably filled their holds with shrimp all the way to the top and are heading back to the dock to offload the shrimp and get a paycheck. I wonder if they ever fly a pirate flag just for the fun of it? I think that if I were the captain of the boat, I would wear a pirate hat just for the fun of it from time to time. Combine work and fun. A job is nicer if you are having fun at it. Sort of like Snow White and "whistle while you work" philosophy. Today is Friday and yes tomorrow is Saturday which means? Yep, big breakfast day with a blow-by-blow description for Seaside and Villager. Now tomorrow is Saturday, so no oatmeal or cereal for seaside and villager for breakfast. Eggs, hash browns, bacon, toast and coffee. Wait, what about orange juice? If you live in Florida you just have to have orange juice with your breakfast. Remember the 10 cents "all you can drink" roadside orange juice stands in orange grove country way back when? Have a nice day and a bountiful tomorrow. Lew
