No light on across the street
Today the trash cans across the street got brought in by the guy who maintains the property. He also place a for rent sign out in the front yard. Tonight, it is pitch black across the road. The limo is gone for good. The only thing which remains is my picture of the limo. Mom and I went to the Frozen Gold ice cream shop. The dining room was closed, but they still served food from the outside window. Mom got a small chocolate cup of ice cream which I had two bites. I ordered a hot dog which came with mustard, sweet pickles and onions. I enjoyed the hot dog because someone else fixed it. I took this picture earlier in the day when the weather was nicer. I like the trace of white on the underside of the pelican's wings. I wondered if this was a certain breed of pelicans or if this white line on the wings is stardard on all pelicans?

You're right. I don't ever remember seeing a white line on the underside of a pelican's wing. I'll bet that it is distinct to a certain variety of pelican. As Teddy Roosevelt would say, "Bully for you." You did the hot dog right by putting the all American favorite on your hot dog, mustard, relish, and onion. As much as I love ketchup, I can't stand it on a hot dog. When I lived in Phoenix, there was a hot dog place in the shopping center across the street from the hospital. It was called Fat Frank's. It was a walk up with tables in front of it. It was completely under cover in the mall which shielded the diners from the sun (in Arizona we didn't have to worry about rain, just the hot blazing sun). He had all kinds of hot dogs from the standard to fat ones to foot long ones. I use to like going there for lunch. There was one hot dog that I just had to try because it was so unique. It was called The Frankenstein. It was a foot long hot dog but for condiments it had onion, chunks of tomato, some other stuff, and ketchup which I guess was suppose to make it look gory. It definitely did look different. When I tried a Frankenstein once I didn't care all that much for it because of the ketchup. But it was worth all the stares from the people. Whenever someone got one, the other people sitting at the tables would stare at the strange gory-looking hot dog with bloody ketchup called The Frankenstein. It was fun to eat from that aspect. So I am glad that you enjoyed your hot dog. Today we are going to Sonny's barbeque for lunch. Have a nice day. Lew
