The shuttle was scrubbed due to rain

I got up around 1:20 and learned from the television, the rain was the reason the shuttle did not leave the ground. This saved me from peaking outside in hopes of seeing a shuttle take off with the engines lit like a bright light. The astronauts could crawl back into a regular bed and sleep on earth until they try again tonight. I hope they get a good sleep and warm strong coffee to drink. It is nice to see the surfers enjoy the waves. There should be more wave action coming be this weekend. Another disturbance is coming towards Florida. This one would be named Danny, if the winds build up to tropical.

I beat you. I got up at 1:15 to watch the launch. I watched the commentary on television on the launch until it was officially scrubbed. After that, I watched Dr. G. until 2:00 am and then returned to bed. Then the cat got me up at 5:30 am to go outside. She meows real loud outside the bedroom door. So I let her out and got some toast to eat while I was reading on my laptop. I like the laptop for reading because I can make everything "large print" with the click of a button. I was reading a book on physiology that I had downloaded. The chihuahua loves sitting on the chair next to me while I am reading on the laptop. He stays with me every morning on the chair. He is a good little dog. After Mary got up, she presented me with a banana split ice cream cake, the scapular medal, and software on a disc of games by Hoyle. It should give many hours of fun. Have a nice day and a second cup of coffee. Lew
