Last Day at 45 yrs. old
Today should be our traveling day. There is lots of preparation to do for a road trip. I haven't started packing. Breakfast is another issue. Folding bed linens and placing them into my bedroom. Plus separating medication to take on trip. I require medication this morning to get through the day. This is like a pre-flight checklist to take the shuttle out for a flight. I did get to watch the Belmont. "Summer Bird" was the winner. "Mine that Bird" came in around third or fourth in the race. There were only ten horses running the race. It was suppose to be the longest track, but the race seemed to run pretty quickly. This is a picture of the pelican with his wings spread out so large. It is hard to capture the pelican's picture because the bird flies so fast. When the pelican zooms by I usually am unprepared to take the picture. However, I think this one turned on alright when it is enlarged in size. Speaking of enlarged, my movie theater charges two dollars more to go see a three dimensional movie verses a regular movie. I remember when 3d movies had no extra charge attached.

I enlarged the picture of the pelican as you suggested. In the enlarged mode the wing spread is enhanced and looks more like a South American condor than a pelican. The body of the pelican also looks quite large in the picture which must make soaring difficult. What movie was your theater showing in 3D? The new star trek movie? I don't think that our theater in West Oaks mall shows any 3D movies at all. Today for breakfqast we had pancakes and the last two chocolate muffins in the shape of a donut. Plus Mary had put a sugar glaze onto the donuts. Mary used the new electric grill that we got recently to cook the pancakes. She likes the grill because she can cook 4 pancakes at the same time and not be crowded on the grill leaving room for flipping the pancakes. We didn't go to see the laser show at the science museum. The music was suppose to be classic rock from a particular radio station. I tuned into their station and listened to some of their music which was modern rock. I didn't care for it. It would have been nice if it had been like Golden Oldies or music from the 60's and 70's. So we decided not to go. Have a nice day at Williston and maybe your singing cowboy friend will show up? How is "turtle" doing at the beach? Take care. Lew
