Weekend stuff

One show I will miss is the horse and carriage show located in Lady Lake, Florida this weekend. I can picture in my mind how beautiful the carriages would look. There might even be a stagecoach there. Many years ago when I lived in the city of Oakland, Florida, my sister had a buggy pulled by her Tennessee Walking Horse Laddie. It was a big yellow buggy and fun to show off around the city. There were lots of clay roads and a nice little post office. One day my sister's horse Laddie broke loose from the buggy and we had to round him up and take to buggy back to the stables. The day seemed ruin and the buggy had to be fixed up. I think my sister eventually got rid of the buggy and gave her horse Laddie away. I can just imagine the type of horses pulling the carriages at the show. I would figure maybe some draft horses or teams of six or eight really fine tall muscle good looking breeds of horses. I wonder if there will be some people dressed in upper aristocratic outfits to show nobility with the horse carriages. Will also the horses carry some fancy ornate head gear to display while on a carriage team? Maybe there will be a story on the news when it is over.
