I am hoping for a sunny day
The hummingbird does come in the morning and early afternoon. He likes my neighbor Carol's oak tree. He comes over to our oak tree and tweedles at me while I hang up the clothes. I refer to the bird as a he because it is easier for me. However, he could be a she, but I can not tell. You might think the bird is a she because it likes to tweedle (sing) a lot. I consider the bird to be chatty. I think it is trying to carry on a conversation with me as I try to hang up the clothes on the clothes line. The best I could describe the bird as having a soft green color body about an inch long. It has a long narrow black beak. In fact, I would say the beak looked like a sewing needle. When it was sitting on a branch on the oak tree while I was hanging up clothes, I saw the beak move side to side in an animated motion. I still don't have a humming bird feeder. I don't go to the store very often to look for a feeder. This is a picture of a few doggies at the dog parade. I guess they were waiting on who won the judging contest.

That is a neat story about the hummingbird. You make me envious. You live next to the ocean and now you have a hummingbird in your backyard. Really neat. We got our invitation to Lillian's wedding. I selected vegetarian lasagna and salad. Mary selected salmon and salad. Mary has a doctors appointment for 10:30 but she is going to reschedule it so that she can attend Lillian's wedding. When I lived in Phoenix, AZ I attended the wedding of a doctors daughter. He had a very lavish reception. He had two bars set up in his house with bartenders and a buffet table that was so long as to be unbelieveable. He had every kind of food imagineable. I talked to the doctor and he told me that the wedding was costing him a fortune. He also said that he told his daughter that she had better stay married because he wasn't paying for another wedding. She would have to pay for the next one herself. I learned that the daughter divorced a year later. I will bet that her father was upset with her getting a divorce so soon. Lillian seems to be so rock-solid about this marriage that I think that it will be permanent. It should be a nice wedding ceremony being on the shores of Starke lake. Have a nice day. Lew
