Thursday is almost Friday
I have seen a picture of mom's English Bull Dog Gus as she was growing up in Indiana. He looked like an average English Bull Dog. However, mom said he would cry if anyone left him. I kind of remember my former neighbor's English Bull Dog Chainsaw. His breathing was just like a chainsaw. You could tell he was coming before he got there by the chainsaw sounds he made. Yesterday was Ash Wednesday church services which mom and I stayed home. Mom and I did go without meat. I made the spinach and cheese casserole which was pretty good. I am hoping for some sunshine. I would like to see if the hummingbird comes around.

The seagulls look like a local group that probably hang out together. Probably just waiting for the next handout. The bolts in the pilings supporting the building in the background are all rusted. They should have used galvanized bolts at the very least or stainless steel which wouldn't rust at all. I think that all of the bolts should be replaced.
Are you able to get a picture of the hummingbird? Is it brightly colored or brown? Good luck.
Time for an experiment. I got a bag of cow manure from Wal-mart yesterday to plant a few sunflower seeds in to see how they do. I commented to the cashier at Wal-mart that I never thought that I would be paying for potty soil. Sorry about the pun of potty soil vs potting soil but I just couldn't resist. I still need to get a hummingbird feeder to see if I have any luck or maybe a plant that attracts hummingbirds. Mary and I went to Arby's for lunch yesterday and got our free beef sandwiches. They were really good. We also got an order of french fries each which we had to pay for. I printed out two coupons, one for me and one for Mary and we paid separately so that we could use the coupons. Give it a try. After all the price is right, free.
Have a nice day. Lew
