We are back at the beach

It is great to be back home in New Smyrna Beach. I do miss not picking the blackberries and petting the female turkey named Hillary. I would pet her on top of her head and she would go to sleep. I have a bit of unpacking to do and some projects to start, so everything will come together. The yard guy Charles comes tomorrow to make the yard look good. It looks like it will be a hot day and some more hot days ahead for the rest of the week.

You can see a wisp of water shooting straight from the large wave and just to the right of the center of the picture. The individual droplets are frozen by the camera. The girl wading in the water looks to be having a good time. We went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart today and Mary got a pork loin roast that was really cheap. It was sealed in a plastic package with applewood seasoning and bacon bits and barbeque sauce. The plastic package looked like a long tube. She baked it tonight and it was very good. She also put some small potatos in the oven to bake along with the pork loin. She is going back to Wal-Mart tomorrow and while she is there she will check to see if they have any more pork loins for that price and if they do she will pick up a couple and freeze them at home. We bought a lot of food today and a lot of good things also. Plus Mary is very good at coupon shopping. She had a bunch of 1.00 coupons that she got from the internet. We saved 1.00 on miracle whip salad dressing, kraft barbeque sauce and kraft salad dressing (honey catalina). The salad dressing was already marked down to 1.58 so subtract a dollar for the coupon and we got it for 58 cents. Now that was a pretty good deal. It is time for us to do the on-line crossword puzzle. Have a nice evening and like Dorothy and Toto says "There's no place like home". Lew
