A built up of heat
This storm came down from Flagler County with a tornado warning attached to it. When I went out onto the porch it was 90 degrees. The closer the storm got to New Smyrna Beach the temperature decreased to 82 degrees. It rained and lightening, but it didn't hold on for long. The storm continued to move South and now is over Titusville, Florida. Someone got a picture of a water spout in Flagler County close to the pier.
There is no thunder and I presume no lightening. The sky is just grey and probably some leftover rain making everything more green. This was taken out of my back porch door.

I am glad that your weather was not as severe as I thought that you were getting. The worst part of bad weather is when the electric goes and then there is no air conditioning. But so far we have it pretty light here. Have a nice evening. Lew

We got practically no rain from the storm. Just a few drops on the driveway. We did get some stiff wind for a brief period of time but it was over with in a matter of moments. But as I could visually see the storm clouds approaching from the north and was also watching its approach on the weather radar on televisionj, I stepped outside. And before the strong winds came, it was absolutely dead calm outside. Not a breath of wind. I guess that it was the proverbial calm before the storm. But when the winds did come, it was neat to go outside and watch the very fast low clouds zooming by. They didn't look like they were very high. And there was so much turbulence in the clouds. It was exciting to watch. Then came the large rain drops and I had to go inside. But that was the extent of the rain, just some large rain drops and then it was over. I watered the sand pit again early this morning before the sun came up. I am trying very hard to get the grass, weeds, and anything else to grow there so that the wheels of the lawnmower won't sink in the sugar sand. Villager once told me that if I keep watering my marigolds, they will keep growing and flowering and she was right. So I am applying that same principle to the sand pit. Have a nice day and remember the memories that you have of your father. Have a nice day and keep your water glass full with ice cubes. Lew

Of the four pictures that you sent I like this one the best because of the richness of the colors and the contrast between the colors. A very nice picture. It should be on the cover of a jigsaw picture puzzle box. Thanks for the pictures. Lew
