Glad to be home on Thursday
Today is Thursday when the garbage gets picked up. Plus the recyclables get picked up. I don't know if we will get any rain today. According to the weatherman, it doesn't look to promising. The maps look as though the rain will stay mostly to the center of the state. My betting for the horse race wasn't too good this year. I bet on the one that finished last. I also bet the time before on the horse that broke his legs and was eventually destroyed. This is a picture of my mom and my sister on the beach. It was towards the evening and the sunlight was catching them at the right angle. I like the air conditioning inside my house. It feels good and encourages me to go back to sleep. I hope there is good television on today. I look forward to seeing some.

Don't feel bad about the bets on the horse races, I have even worse luck playing the Lotto. I like the expression that Mel Fisher, the treasure hunter in the Florida Keys who eventually found the Spanish treasure ship, the Atocha, use to say, "Today is the day." He looked positively on each day that this would be the day that he would find the treasure. And everytime I buy a Lotta ticket I think to myself "This is the winning Lotto ticket". And then I dream of all the things that I could buy with all that money. Of course the ticket doesn't win and so my dreams just evaporate away. That is until I buy the next Lotto ticket. Then I dream again. I also like going to the lost treasure sites on the internet. I think to my self, I bet that I could find that treasure if I were there. I know, what a dreamer I am. Having lost two bets on the races, you have probably gotten all of the bad luck out of the way and now it is time for the good luck. The next time that you bet you may be a winner. Good luck. Nice picture. Very lucky to be able to stroll along the beach. Everyone looks so happy. The beach, the ocean, the waves, does that to a person. Sort of melts your cares away. Lew
