This dog is named Bella
She looks like a tough pit bull dog, but her owner said this is an old English bull dog. He said the previous owner was his female roommate which he misses very much. She left him the dog. The current owner says she is very friendly to everyone ; except for, other guys. This picture reminds me of the movie where '' Gloria Swanson" the aging movie star from way back when says" I'm ready for my close up Mr. Deville." Bella the dog to me is like the dog version of "Gloria Swanson." Bella seemed much loved by her current owner and was whisked away onto the beach for a long strolling walk without a care or threat of any beach patrol ruining her Oscar winning evening.

Isn't it strange that in the picture the dog has green eye instead of red eye from the camera flash. It is really apparent in the magnified mode. I remember hearing that Gloria Swanson phrase. A classic. But who was the old time actress who said "I want to be alone" and had a lifelong companion who I believe was German and a Count named Max? Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman use to do parody skits on them all the time on the Carol Burnett show. It use to make me laugh. And it's good to laugh. Also, which famous television actor said in an interview, "I've been rich and I've been poor, and rich is better." His character drove a bus, lived in a small "cold water type" apartment, and had a sewer worker friend named Ed Norton? Movie trivia is a good memory exerciser. Like what vampire actor had the first name Bella like the dog? Questions, questions. A myriad of questions. Have a nice day. Lew
