Sunny Launch Day Saturday
The shuttle goes off the launch pad at 5:02 this afternoon. It is the Discovery on Launch Pad 39A. This launch should blast off without any glitches. The only thing to think about it is the best location to see the launch. It is a sunny morning and the sunflower is facing the road and the flower is brightly colored yellow. I thought it to be idea to include a sunflower picture to symbolize a sign of a hopeful day. Tomorrow will be the first day of June and a new month to create new memories. I have been anticipating my birthday that I made it this weekend ; instead of, next weekend when it really is suppose to be. Dinner will be cubed steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy. I didn't watch the Spelling Bee last night, but I listen to it while typing on the computer. The words were way to complicated for me to spell. I am amazed how kids could retain such information. I was instant messaging my friend Lillian. The conversation mostly revolved around the Spelling Bee. When I called my sister early this morning. I started to spell beep on her answering machine. She picked up on the message and teased me a bit.

The sunflower is pretty. A real bright yellow. The sunlight shining through the back of the petals really enhances the yellow color. Happy coming birthday! What do you hope for in the way of presents? Clothes or fun things. When I was young, I hated getting clothes for my birthday. I wanted toys, lots of toys, nothing but toys. I wasn't very practical. just fun loving. Well, I hope that you get everything that you want and just a little extra to make your birthday a little extra special. Take care and say "hello" to Lillian for me. Lew
