Almost the weekend



Is it going to rain? This is the big question of the day. This is also trash day and recycle day. Speaking of recycle, I carried out an old door to the curb which someone picked up and carted it away. I saw the new Indiana Jones movie. The movie was hard to believe. Indiana gets into a refrigerator and survives a nuclear blast. Its a fun movie and the special effects are great. The plot is not based on thought awareness. I like Harrison Ford, but I will wait on Indiana Four. Dinner tonight is hot dogs and baked beans. Mom also will have fruit for us to eat. We did get the rain, but no sunset. The rain will be a welcome sight.

    From now until November the daily weather will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain. And the grass will grow and grow much like in Jack and the Beanstalk. The rain brought the humidity way up here in Orlando. Tomorrow we are going to see the Birds of Prey at the National Audobon Society Rescue Center in Maitland. Tonight we had Church's fried chicken with cole slaw, corn on the cob, bisquit, and homemade coconut cake topped with green marachino cherries. Did you get to see the space station go over last night? I missed it because I completely forgot about. But I have the schedule and here it is.

    I also like the Romancing the Stone series with Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. And of course Danny DeVito who plays an unscrupulous character. Ever since the TV series Taxi I have been a fan of his. There have been two movies when he hasn't been in that Loiue DePalma character from Taxi. They are One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest where he plays a character named Santini (and he has a full head of hair) and Renaissance Man which he directed and I learned the phrase oxymoron from which is two opposite words used in a sentence that mean the same, like I laughed til I cried. Go to your library and check them out. Especially Renaissance Man. Will be leaving soon for the Birds of Prey at the Audubon Society. Stay dry. Lew
