It is feeling like Summer
It looks like a hot day today. I got spaghetti sauce cooking on the stove. This is the second day we have "Holly" our visiting dog. She will be with us until Friday. The rain season doesn't start until June. Even " Holly" isn't so energetic in the heat. Our next door neighbor is having their roof repaired. There is lots of banging going on next door. It sounds like the 90's will be here later in the week.

Mary and I went to the Hannibal Square Heritage Center to see almost two dozen paintings done by the Highwaymen. There paintings were nice. While there on the second office there was an office with two Mormon women volunteers. They do genealogical research. They gave us each a form to fill out and they researched our family histories and I find out some names that I didn't know of. They were very kind and explained everything and how they did the genealogical research They said that they would continue researching both of our family trees and would call us when they were done. Tonight we had angel hair pasta with herbs and shrimp mixed in. Rye toast on the side and a creme filled cupcake for dessert. Tomorrow will be filled with clothes shopping for shirts for me. FYI, our cat hasn't been very energetic for the last couple of days. It is probably the heat also just like with your visiting doggie. Have a nice day. Lew
