Have a Holly day
This is a picture of " Holly" the dog, mom and I are taking care of while the owner and his wife are on a cruise. The owner" Howard" called yesterday from Key West to check up on his dog. I told him she was doing ok. I told him about the plans I had about taking mom and I to Bunnell and leaving Holly here this afternoon. He just wants to be sure she has plenty of food and water. Holly was a nice conversation piece when mom and I took Holly to the Flagler entrance to the beach. The Flagler entrance is kind of like a park overhang where dog owners can take their dogs close to the beach. The beach is forbidden to the dog or any other animal. However the park overhang is a social place for dogs and dog owners. We met a lady who said she was an 81 year old. A great grandmother but wanted to divorce her husband of twenty years. She says he was very controlling and she wasn't allowed to have any friends of her own. She seemed to have a lot of pinned up anger. I only hope she can work out her emotional issues. I took Holly out early and now she is on the floor next to me. I guess she just likes being around people.

A cute dog but probably a bit too big to be a true lap dog. For some reason I thought I remembered a small black dog with curly hair. It is nice that you are using a harness to walk the dog instead of a collar. I think that the harness is much more comfortable for the dog. When I went on a five day cruise to Cancun, Mexico once, the first stop was also in Key West. We were there for quite a while. Many of the passengers got off including myself. I went to see the Mel Fisher treasure museum in Key West. I noticed that many of my shipmates were buying 12-packs of soda to drink on the ship. I bought a 12-pack of coke. Although, all of the food is free on the cruise, soda from the soda machines was expensive. I would just put a can of soda in a bucket of ice in my room and "voila", a nice cold inexpensive can of soda. I am sure that your friend and his wife are going to have a good time on their cruise. I thoroughly enjoyed mine. There is so much to do on the cruise ships. When he gets back, he will probably be a couple of pounds heavier because of all of the fantastic meals. Cruises are famous for the endless supply of great food. Have a great day. Lew
