What a catch

Halloween is over and November is here.
Here is the main catch
Lets cook it well and drink another beer.
How shall we cook the fish fried baked or grilled?
As long as it is cooked well enough then I am totally thrilled.
Food on the table a fresh ocean delight. You will find me ready, willing and able to enjoy a fish dinner tonight.
This is a picture of the fish which were caught below the North Bridge pylons. The fisherman have quite a wonderful catch to take home and eat.

My late in-laws use to fish a lot. They would fish from the bridges ijn the Florida Keys that go out over the ocean and connect the islands. They would bring their catch home and their son would filet them. He was quite adept at this and made it look easy. I tried my hand at fileting and found out that it wasn't so easy (at least not for me). It was a miracle that I didn't cut myself. The fish filets were then put into the refrigerator freezer and frozen and then eaten gradually over time. With the price of fish what it is, going fishing is not a bad idea. Can you walk out onto the North Bridge to fish? In Miami, most bridges have catwalks along the sides that you can fish from. Mary is going to get her fishing license on Monday. She gets both a fresh water and a salt water fishing license for the price of just a single license. I don't have to pay for a license. I can fish either fresh water or salt water for free. So can your mom. But you would have to pay full price. I know, a real bummer. But be patient and someday you will be able to fish for free once you reach 65. Plus you will be able to go to Captain D's on senior Wednesdays and get a reduced price, plus Senior Tuesdays at the movies which is about half price, plus, plus, .....
Today (this morning) we are going to Fiesta at the Lake, which is an arts and crafts fair down at Lake Eola which should be lots of fun. Then this afternoon I am going for a historic tour of an old church in Ocoee on Bluford. The people giving the tour will be members of the congregation and will be in period dress. It should be interesting and informative. A full day ahead. Enjoy your day and above all have fun. Lew
