stormy weather

It looked like a big storm show last night. We were not able to get outside and explore the ocean. The storm with the thunder and lightening came rumbling into New Smyrna. We had a forty-five minute tornado warning. The weather radio kept blasting while the weathermen tried to talk on television explaining where the storm was located and where it was moving. They even showed us pictures of funnel clouds from Ormand Beach and Port Orange. It turns out there was mobile home damage in Port Orange. Tonight it is starting to cloud up from the South. I don't know if we will get any major storms, but the sky is worth look at.

Nice picture with good timing which means in the right place at the right time. It's neat seeing the dark storm clouds moving in and the clear blue sky ahead of it. The timing was great because the vegetation makes a V shape with the sky and at the bottom of the V is the reddish-orange of the setting sun. Five minutes later and you wouldn't have gotten the orange color in your photo. You have amassed quite a collection of landscape photos. Photos take up a lot of storage room on the computer. I have an external hard drive (120 gigabytes) which I use for long term storage of files. Especially picture files. I love my digital camera and I shoot a lot of pictures with it. Many times I will take the same picture twice just in case I moved on one of them and blurred the picture. Have fun with your picture taking. You're are very lucky at getting pictures at the right moment. Lew
