Friday morning

The night crickets were chirping like little violins. The stars were out shining brightly in the darkened sky. The crescent moon hung overhead like a misplaced item in some one's closet. Off in the distance, were the soft hums of the bike's exhaust system. The bikers were riding around well past midnight. I talked with my sister this morning and she is ready to put in a half a day of work. She has a rubber watering tank that is in need of repair. It sprung a leak. Yesterday, mom and I went to the library and got replacement books for our last visit. I got the latest" Bill Shatner" book and "Christa McCauliffe" book. Mom got the " Accidental Tourist" and the "Alan Alda" book. Plus, an early childhood of "Jimmy Carter" book. This should make for some good reading.

The library is a fun place to visit. It is like going to a bookstore where everything is free. I got a couple of medical books for my studies and Mary also got a book. We got a bunch of DVD movies. One of them was called Hancock and starred Will Smith. We watched it this afternoon and Will Smith plays a sort-of superhero with superpowers. It was pretty good. I think that it was in the movies only a short time ago. See you at Holiday House. Lew
