Back in New Smyrna

It is another hot day. Do you think the shuttle will go up today? Do you think the storms might interfere with the launch of the space shuttle? It is nice and cool inside the house, but I miss seeing the butterflies and the hummingbird. We had our orange honeysuckle trimmed way back, so I don't expect to see the hummingbird until next year. This is the changing of the lifeguards at the entrance of 27 Avenue. One guy gets to go home and the other goes on duty. The Harry Potter movie starts today and the doctor consultation went OK yesterday.

In the picture, the wave about to break looks to be as tall as the girl to the right of the lifeguard station. The translucent jade green of the wave can be appreciated best when viewing the picture in the enlarged mode. I believe that there is a whole series of Harry Potter books. Have you ever had the opportunity to read any of them? I have seen them in the stores. No hummingvbirds around here yet. I was at WalMart yesterday and I saw a woman looking at the hummingbird feeders. I have put my hummingbird feeder into storage for now until I see a hummingbird. Right now my emphasis is on feeding the squirrels in the squirrel feeder. I put some leftover popcorn from the movies onto the feeder yesterday and a few hours later the ants were having a feast on it. All 500 of them. When it gets hot today have some lemonade and when you pour a tall cool glassful over ice, put a maraschino cherry with a stem into the lemonade and then pour just a small amount of the maraschino cherry juice in the top of the glass of lemonade to give the top portion a red color. Drink up and be cool (hippie talk) and also stay cool. Lew
