Close to the water
Yesterday, mom had a show on about sharks. They told how some sharks can swim in the rivers of Louisiana and feed off the bottom of the river. People who swim in the rivers would never know a shark would be swimming down below. The picture looks like the boat is too close to the water. This was taken very early in the morning. Hopefully they caught some good fish and had fun for the day.

Yes, I agree, the boat looks too low in the water. Reminds me of the movie jaws. Toward the beginning of the movie, the town has posted a reward for whoever kills the shark. The local rednecks head to the docks and pile into small boats to go to sea to kill the shark. The boats are packed with men with guns and riding way too low in the water. In fact the water is very close to the top edge of the boat. Richard Dreyfus is standing on the dock watching them and makes a comment that the boats are way overloaded. In a way the boat picture reminds of that scene in the movie Jaws. And since New Smyrna seems to be the shark bite capital of the world perhaps they should have filmed Jaws there. Have a nice day and charge up the battery in your camera for tonight shuttle launch. Lew
