Lots of Hollywood stuff on television
Tonight we had a turkey breast for dinner. Mom also had a big head of real green broccoli. We split a potato and laced it with turkey gravy. Turkey gravy also went on the cooked turkey. The news has been dominated by the passing of "Farrah Fawcett" and " Michael Jackson." I did some grocery shopping at Winn Dixie and mom shopped at Publix. The two of us got lots of groceries. I see a little bit of a sunset outside the kitchen window as the sound of the dishwasher washes the evening dishes.

Publix is a nice store to shop at. The store is very brightly lit, the aisles are wide, the boxes and cans on the shelves are neatly lined up, and the employees are always cheerful and helpful. I find that their prices are a little higher than Wal-Mart. But if I ever win the lotto, I would shop there exclusively. Having a turkey breast with turkey gravy is sort of like having a mini Thanksgiving dinner. I always use to get the Heinz brand of turkey gravy that comes in a glass jar. I always liked the flavor of it over the other turkey gravies. Mary and I had some broccoli with supper last night but it was in the form of frozen mixed vegetables. The main course was fish sticks. It was Friday and so that means some kind of fish for supper. I had asked Mary if we could have some fish sticks so we got Mrs. Pauls fish sticks. They are terrible. But I made mine taste good. How? Lots and lots of ketchup. I literally drowned the fish sticks in ketchup and since I like ketchup a lot, the fish sticks tasted good because all I could taste was the ketchup. One my favorite expressions is that with a bottle of ketchup I can make anything taste good. Ketchup sandwiches anyone? Lew
