Ready for Thursday
I was playing Holiday Express which is a strategy game at Hipsoft.com. You fit the presents in back of the train car in a timed fashion. Meanwhile, the twelve days of Christmas is playing in the background. I am very addicted to the game. I was watching PBS hoping to see Bocelli sing last night. Instead, I first watched a rerun of Pavarotti which I don't mind. I especially like the part where Luciano Pavarotti does a church duet with his dad. They both have unique voices which blended well together. I fell asleep after the duet and woke up in the middle of a Roy Orbison concert. Mom liked Roy Orbison because his music had an upbeat tempo. I looked for something interesting on the computer, but there wasn't anything. I got ready for bed, but didn't even watch Jay Leno who is moving to ten in the evening. In my book, he will only have to compete with the local news. Today is the big day of the terrible weather according to the weatherman. Thunderstorms and possible twisters if the weather is unsettled. Mom and I missed the George and Cindy Anthony interview with Larry King live. Maybe we can get little bits off the other shows like "Entertainment Tonight. " I am not sure what this picture is suppose to represent, but it is a boat with some lights at the boat parade.

Bad kitty. Very bad kitty. So here I was, sitting at my computer, typing a comment to the blog. Actually, I was finished with my comments and was about to send it. I was that close. Sitting on the desk above my keyboard was a hot cup of coffee. Also on the desk was the kitten exploring this new territory that I had picked her up and placed her on the desk to explore. When suddenly the cat bumped my cup of coffee off the edge of the desk. As the coffee fell it tipped sideways and spilled its contents onto the keyboard and my pants. I was trying to clean the keyboard with a dry cloth and must have hit some of the wrong keys and there went my comments into oblivion. I was very discouraged by this and with Mary’s help had to clean the keyboard and my clothing. Even my socks got coffee on them. So you see, kitty was being bad. Now I will try to reconstruct the comments as best I can. I think that the boat in the picture could be a shrimp boat and the inverted red and green V’s are the outriggers that they attach the nets to pull them along in the water behind the boat catching the shrimp. The outriggers keep the nets and lines away from the side of the boat. The other possibility is a tourist type deep sea fishing boat and once again the inverted V’s are outriggers to attach the fishing lines to as they troll through the water for sail fish. Today Mary and I went to the Orlando Science museum to see an IMAX type movie about cave exploring. All types of caves: dry caves, limestone caves, underwater caves, ice caves, etc. It was pretty good with a lot of spectacular aerial views. Tomorrow is kitty day when she has to go back to the vet to start getting her immunization shots. Mary and I will both be doing a little Christmas shopping tomorrow also. I am having a lot of trouble trying to find the things that I am looking for. Sort of reminds me of an old fashioned scavenger hunt. Have a good evening. Lew
