Friday

I used a turkey egg last night to make some tapioca, which I finished up this evening. It made the tapioca real thick. Today the picture of Glendon's rooster"Golden Boy" was hung on the kitchen wall. It looks so real. It also blends in well with the colors of yellow, white and green pattern on the wallpaper in the kitchen. We are in a dry phase. Maybe this weekend we will get a passing shower. I had chicken for dinner. It came from Food Lion and I got a dollar off because it was Friday.

I have heard of people putting a little hole in each end of the egg and blowing the egg out of the shell so that you can have an intact egg shell that can be decorated or colored. I have never tried it myself but it might work with a turkey egg because I think that the shell will be a little thicker and tougher. Has Villager ever tried this? Especially at Easter time? I don't know if there is a Food Lion in Orlando. The dollar off was a good deal and it is alright to eat chicken on Friday because it is considered a white meat and not a red meat. Plus chicken is not mammalian. At least that is what I have been told. Have a good evening. Lew
