All My EX's live in Texas

Maybe we will get to see Bush leave this morning after the breakfast with Obamas or maybe we will not. I know when Obama takes the oath Bush is a private citizen. He is also a former President. There will be a sea full of people waiting to see it happen. I am looking forward to it also. The weatherman says cold weather for the next two nights. I brought my key lime in last night, so I will take it out when the sun starts warming up to the 50's and bring it back in when the sun is going down and the temperature starts dropping. We may not being eating chicken today, but I thought it was a good picture to look at. It kind of gives me the yearning for fried chicken. I talked with Lillian the bride to be and she is lining up local hotel rooms for her out of town guest to stay. She also said her future husband Aaron calls her"bridezillakins." I told her this was a sign of his affection for her. She also said that Aaron has planned her honeymoon to Nassau in the Bahamas. I told her to ride the horse and carriage when she is there. She still hasn't started on making her wedding dress yet. Time is ticking away and I hope she has everything ready when the big day comes.

"All My Ex's live in Texas" is a country western song by George Strait. I first heard it when I watched the movie Roadhouse starring Patrick Swayzee and Sam Elliot. Themusic was playing from a jukebox as Sam Elliott danced with Patrick Swayzee's girlfriend in an all-night diner in the movie. Ben Gazara was in the movie also and looked as youthful as ever. He is one of those actors that just never seems to age. I have seen the movie Roadhouse over 30 times and is obviously one of my favorites. The chicken in the frying pan looks nice and golden brown. It really looks yummy. You must have enjoyed eating it tremondously. Chicken is such a good food because it is cheap, tasty and healthy. There looks to be some sort of glaze on the chicken as well as the seasonings. Plus I see that your mom cooks with cast iron pans. My mom cooked with them too. My mom said that she preferred them over ordinary pans because the thickness of the cast iron distributed the heat more evenly. Also, the hot pad is by the teapot by the back burner and is too close to the burner. Need to move it. Poor Lillian must be under tremendous stress with the upcoming wedding. The bride is always stressed because she wants everything to go well and all of the arrangments for a wedding seem to fall on the bridesmaids shoulders. She should have a good time in Nassau because the islands are so picturesque. She should have plenty of opportunities for picture taking. Are you ready for the inauguration? I will be watching it while sitting in a nice warm living room watching all those people in attendance freezing in the cold. After the inauguration I am planning on getting a haircut today. Each day I try to do something. Plus I have to trim a tree limb that was rubbing against the roof shingles with the winds this morning. Fortunately, it is a small limb and should not present much of a problem. Today is definitely a hot cocoa day with of course the marshmellows. Stay warm and have your own inauguration celebration party at noontime in front of the TV with a wide selection of goodies. Enjoy the day or as they say carpe diem. Lew

Just one more question about the picture. Who broke the metal pouring spout on the container of Morton salt. It is easy to see in the enlarged mode. Tsk, tsk. Lew
