What to do in stormy weather

The sky is turning dark. Night is really here. My bathroom light is burned out, so I need to get a replacement tomorrow. It is a little late to go shopping for a bulb tonight. I am very stuffed after eating pork loin for dinner along with a half of a bake potato and sweet potato. Mom also had some Cole slaw and pineapple cut up. I had made a fresh batch of tapioca, earlier in the day. I ate some and probably more later. I have no clue regarding what is on television this evening. Mom and I will be doing some channel surfing.

Poor pelican. Fishing line wrapped around his beak so tight that he can't open it and the fish hook is snagged on his pouch and pulling it to one side. Do they have a pelican rescue organization near New Smyrna?

Speaking of sweet potato, have you ever had sweet potato pie? I haven't but I have heard that it is very similar to pumpkin pie.

Many years ago in Miami, I would put a little extra vanilla extract into the tapioca to give it a real strong vanilla taste. Have you ever tried eating tapioca before it has cooled completely and is still a little warm? Put a maraschino cherry on top of the pudding in an individual serving dish? Starting to sound like a cooking show, isn't it? Enjoy your tapioca later on. Lew

Funny, the blog didn't register on the front page of your blog raising the comment number from "0" to "1". Lew
