surfing in the fog

When this picture was taken, I couldn't even see into the ocean. Now, rain is coming back tomorrow along with some thunderstorms. It is nice to see our lights from the outside and to look over at my neighbor's yard and see her lights. I think more people on our street need Christmas lights. I wonder how it must of felt to be surfing out in the ocean and not to be able to see the land or what may be close to you?
