Today's events

The clouds finally cleared out so I could get some pictures of white sailboats and more shrimp boats. I got a compliment from the mail lady "Eileen." I gave her a picture of the eagle I took with my camera awhile back. She found a silver frame for it at the dollar store. She told me she enjoyed the picture very much. Dinner was soup and salad and I made minute tapioca. I also bought small pearl tapioca from the health food store. I also like getting their avocado chips. These chips are very tasty. The present mayor lost the election and is being replace by a guy named "Adam Barringer." For the short time I got to know our present mayor "Sally Mackay", I already know I will miss her.

I had two avocado trees in my yard in Miami. I could just go out and pick ripe avocados right off the tree. Their texture was very smooth and creamy. There were just so many of them on the tree. And the squirrel. A pesky squirrel. A wasteful squirrel. This squirrel liked the avocados also. When the squirrel wanted some avocado, he would chew through the long stem holding the avocado suspended in the tree. The avocado would drop to the ground and he would go down to the ground and eat a hole in the side of the avocado about the size of a silver dollar. That seemed to fill him up. Later in the day when he was hungry again, he wouldn't go back to the avocado on the ground that he had eaten on earlier. No way, he liked his avacado fresh and so he would chew through another long stem to get another avocado to drop down to the ground and he would eat a silver dollar size piece out of that one. This would keep repeating over and over and there would be all these partially eaten avocados all over the ground. But I really can't complain because there were plenty of avocados remaining for me to eat. Enjoying the cool weather? Lew

Your picture of the ocean with the long continuous wave makes me very envious. Lew
