Friday is here
Major earthquakes are pretty rare in this side of the country. I heard that Haiti was on a fault line. Plus, the buildings had no building code. The houses are considered shacks. Geology is a very interesting subject. Tidal waves are always a possibility after an earthquake, but fortunately this did not happen. Florida has it's own set of problems like hurricanes and sinkholes. With all the bad, Haiti is getting help from the outside world. At least something is better than nothing. Dinner was chicken from Food Lion and a bake potato cooked in the microwave. I will hunt for a sugar free pudding cup that is chocolate in the frig.

That must have been a rotisserie chicken from Food Lion from the deli department. The rotisserie chickens always smell great when they are cooking and taste so good. When I worked at the Tuskers restaurant in Animal Kingdom at Disney they made rotisserie chickens. Always done to a nice golden brown perfection. I like roasting the chickens in my Showtime rotisserie grill but the clean-up is a pain. But the chickens do taste good. And it is so easy, "just set it and forget it". But the fried chicken in the cast iron skillet that you posted a picture of one time looked really good. And chocolate pudding. Are you a chocoholic like me? If it has chocolate in it, then it is good. Can never get enough chocolate. Plus Easter is coming and of course we all know what that means, chocolate Easter bunnies. Have a good day and enjoy this great weather that we are having. Lew
